Christmas 2015

" I will honor Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future."  Ebenezer Scrooge

As Christians we are called to be people of kindness, generosity, and love, day in and day out. However, we all get so busy and distracted by the chances and changes of life that we sometimes lose our way. The Christmas Season is a time when we are reminded of the gift of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of life over death, love over hate, light over darkness.

Please take time to prayerfully consider the mission and ministry of Christ at Zion. This year in particular has been a difficult one for us as we have had to respond to many unexpected and unbudgeted expenses, beginning last winter with several break-ins and the subsequent damages to the Zion Campus, as well as needed repairs here and at the Rectory. Sadly, we are behind in pledges this year as well. Contributions may be sent to Zion Episcopal Church, PO Box 717, Manchester Center VT 05255. We remind you that contributions for 2015 must be received by December 31, 2015.

Our Christmas Services are as follows:  Christmas Eve-- 5 pm at Zion Family Service and pageant, 7 pm at St. John's Chapel, and 9 pm at Zion with choir.  Christmas Day: 10 am at Zion

Merry Christmas,  John+
