Christmas 2016

"Jesus came to give life, and to give it abundantly" (John 10:10)

This Christmas give the gift that keeps on giving: LIFE. Where can you find such a timeless gift? At church, of course. The Harvard School of Public Health in a recent study found that women who attended religious services more than once a week had a 33% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease and cancer than those who did not attend. I imagine that the percentage is similar for men. So, this Christmas invite your relatives and friends to celebrate the birth of the Messiah with us and bless them by increasing their life span.

Please prayerfully consider a monetary gift in honor of the Christ Child in order that you may bless many others by making sure that the mission and ministry of Jesus will continue to flourish in Manchester. The address for Zion Episcopal Church, PO Box 717, Manchester Center, VT 05255.

We hope you may be able to join us at one of our Christmas services (all include Holy Eucharist/Communion)

Christmas Eve: 5 pm Family Service and Christmas Pageant at Zion, 7 pm Festive Service at St. John's Chapel, and 9 pm Candlelight Service with choir at Zion

Christmas Day: 8 and 10 am Services at Zion

Merry Christmas,

Fr. John--The Rev. John S. Mitchell, Rector
